Egypt gypsum reserves are very rich, mainly in the eastern desert areas Ismailia Province, near the Red Sea and the Sinai Peninsula.Ismailia Province gypsum is mainly concentrated in the region of El Ballah, 17 quarry ore thickness in the range of 60-75 cm, industrial gypsum reserves of approximately 5.7 million tons, of agricultural gypsum reserves of about 170 million tons. The 18th quarry ore thickness in the range of 40-70 cm, reserves of about 430 million tons.
